Ecko 1994-2007

Got word today that my Husky has a sarcoma tumor in his head. There is nothing the vet can do for him, he will have to be put down. I am very torn up from this news, he has been a good and loyal friend for 13 years. We love you Ecko and you will be missed, you will always be my best buddy!

Policing by Mountain bike

Here's a couple photos from our last few days of training. Not many people get to do what they love, I am thankful everyday I can ride my mountain bike at work. These photos are from Policing by mountain bike certification. It was a fun class and great bunch of guys, We did a couple laps around Swanson, about 30 miles on city streets and a slow speed skills course which are most of the photos.

POLICE TRAINING SIR!

Today was my first day of Police Mountain Bike training at Bellevue training facility. I t was fun, pretty elementary though. After class I talked another cop into a quick lap at Swanson. I was riding my wife's Ironhorse. Well I made it about 1/4 into the first lap and I broke the dérailleur hanger, dérailleur, and some spokes. needless to say I have to get some new stuff! Shucks! I will post some picks tomorrow.

Indian Caves

My wife and I took advantage of the weather and headed down to Indian cave sate park for some camping. We enjoyed some T-bones, Sam Adams Summer ale and some single track. I had never been to Indian caves and I was very impressed with the park and the trails. I will Definitely Return.
