Freeride in Nebraska

Met Nick up at Ft. Calhoun for anothere build day. We finished up the turn on the bridge, this place is really coming together. As Nick says...NIIICE!

Great day for a ride

I took advantage of the milder temps today and hit the keystone for a few hours. It was nice to be outdoors on my bike, but I really miss single track.

I went to Highgear's customer appreciation get together. The turnout was good. Highgear provided adult refreshments and had a raffle of many good prizes (none which I won). It was a good time and I got some good deals, thanks to the staff of Highgear and Trek store for putting it on.

Cabin Fever

Getting major cabin fever. I think I am going to head for a road trip soon if the conditions in the area don't improve. I miss the dirt, I like the snow but the sooner it melts and the trails dry out the better. Come on spring!

First tracks

Finally got to try out my new snow shoes. We received about 8" of new snow down here in Plattsmouth and I went down to the wooded area of the city park and went for a hike. It was great, only the crunch of fresh powder and the light of my headlamp to illuminate the trail.

Very Cool photos that were e-mailed to me. I would not have the balls to ride that exposed trail. Don't know the riders or the trail but thought the photos were sweet.

Some people are getting out and braving the cold, not me of course.

Not much riding for me, too Friggin cold! I been on the trainer indoors (loads of Fun). But Justin has been outdoors, he took a photo of this moose while snowshoeing near Laramie, Wyoming. I have never seen one in southern Wyoming and I laughed at him when he said he saw one, but here's the pictures to prove it. Nice!

Why I have no kids!

I took a ride through Plattsmouth and down to the Missouri river and over to the Platte river and Missouri river confluence. It was windy but worth the ride. I t was a great day to ride!

Specialized Enduro

I love the look of this bike. I can't afford one and don't know much about it. But it looks like specialized made a great all mountain rig!
ILove this Demo 7 frame and the Tattoo style paint job. Sweet!

Turtle Rock

Kind of a boring video, but you can see the natural rock terrain that makes this area fun.
