Shitty trip!

Well still out here in Wyoming, the weather still sucks. The snow has stopped and temps warmed up but wind is causing ground blizzards making travel impossible. All Christmas plans were cancelled and now just waiting to go home...SHIT!

Still Snowing!

Out here in the west and it's snowing like a bitch. Holiday plans so far have been squashed, but as long as I can get up to the mountains and spend some time snowshoeing or snowboarding everything will be good.

Tire chains

I had no idea they made these. I definitely have to get a pair, will have to check if they are restricted to certain widths or if they are adjustable. But, they definitely look like they could work.

Weather Sucks

Well the weather sucks, and has postponed my trip to Wyoming. But, hope to get out there before Christmas. I bought a new digital camera today, so I hope to have some photos up when the weather starts to cooperate.

great day to get out and ride in Nebraska.

I took a quick loop around Swanson today, it was great outside. I rode the rigid frame, holy cow, I forgot how much no suspension beats on your joints. I feel like I need to go to the chiropractor. Anyhow, it was a great ride, looks like the weather is going to hold up here for at least the weekend.

I got some new snowshoes for an early christmas, so I've been making good use of them. This is in the Snowy Range near Laramie Wyoming. This was a great day near 10,000 feet, but it was super windy. Even though it doesn't look like.

Dirt Jumps

Didn't have much to post today, went for a short road ride after work. So here's an older photo from Wyoming.
These are some dirt jumps that my little brother found near a skatepark in Cheyenne. They weren't really taken care of and they looked as though they haden't been ridden in a long time, but still good fun.

Went riding in Union today, Great day, overcast and cool. Unfortunately no video because my camera was destroyed in a tragic accident. Did some jumps and some fast descents. Very FUN.

Freeride

Went up north to Ft. Calhoun and lent a hand. A few guys up there have started a freeride park. There is some big stuff up there, didn't have the balls to go off any of it. My old bones are quite afraid of being broken. Those guys were hitting it pretty hard. They are putting a ladder bridge across a huge ravine, I gotta tell you these guys are making some sic stuff! I will be heading out to Union tomorrow for some riding at the quarry, should be a good day for it.

I am stuck at work today, glad I work outdoors. Wish I was off and out riding, looks like it's going to be a great couple of days. Get off the couch and get on the trails!

Always good times!

Picture taken in Labonte canyon Douglas, Wyoming. Horrific Climb (I walked most of it, as did another flatlander), but the descent was fast and fun. Always fun to ride bikes wih Bros!

Scouting the Terrain

Justin checking out terrain on a cold November day in Vedauwoo. No matter how cold and frozen, always a good ride, and the scenery is second to none.

I picked this 1997 Trek ZX6500 from a buddy that wasn't using it. It is mint and I got a pretty good deal on it. I didn't have a cross country rig so I figure this bad boy could do the trick.

It's nice today, Get out and ride!
