She's done

Got the new Repro decals from bmxproducts.com, they are officially licensed by mongoose and exactly as the originals were in 1984. You can see on the old one's the red had completely faded off.

This is what she looks like after a make-over. I will be putting new pedals (vintage of course). and possibly new decals (originals). and maybe frame and handle bar pads?

NOT TRASH!!!! NO, NO, NO!!!

A lady was throwing this in the trash. I asked if I could have it and she told me to take it. It's an '84 Mongoose Expert. It was pretty beat up and rusty, but nothing a little polish, steel wool, and elbow grease couldn't fix.

Manawa

Took advantage of the beautiful weather and hit Manawa today, it was perfect!

Weekend!

This weekend was GREAT! Beautiful weather, dry trails, and lots of miles put on the bike. Swanson was packed all weekend with riders taking advantage of the spring weather. If you stayed at home inside, you missed out on some great riding this weekend. Well the rains come today so it will probably be a few days before we can get out again.

Treasure

Some of you that know me know that I love skateboarding as much as riding my Mt. Bike. My love of skateboarding was started when my mom and dad bought me a skateboard for Christmas in 1985. It wasn't a great skateboard or even a good skateboard, but it was mine and I loved it! It was a Variflex Ramp Rat from probably Target or K-mart. This board was factory recalled in 1986. I have been searching for this board for quite sometime, and finally, not only did I locate one on ebay, it was in near perfect condition. I had to have this board, I knew I would never see it again, I would have paid a lot more for it. I am super happy. :)
